Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and self-motivated Events Programme Manager to join our team as our first hire. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow and shape the event management function for the worlds largest event celebrating excellence in tech and entrepreneurship at Muslim Tech Fest. As the Events Programme Manager, you will have the autonomy to design, plan, and execute events from start to finish, playing a key role in driving our mission forward.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning and Strategy
- Develop and implement strategic plans for events, aligning them with the organization’s mission and goals.
- Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of all events.
- Create and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
- Project manage the events and put processes in place
Speaker and Program Management
- Liaise with speakers, managing communications, scheduling, and preparation to ensure engaging and seamless sessions.
- Work directly with founders and team leads to craft programming that aligns with the event’s themes and objectives.
- Assist in the creation of activations and unique experiences that enhance attendee engagement and showcase partner contributions.
Volunteer and On-Site Team Management
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteer teams for event day operations, ensuring they are equipped to deliver an excellent attendee experience.
